We fell in love with this Mid Century Modern 1962 Ranch Home home  the second we stepped inside. This Retro Ranch Style home was situated on a Hometown-USA reminiscent street among other amazing Ranch Gems-most still with original owners.  The large windows and natural light were undeniable, efficient open layout, sunken living room with the stacked brick and stone fireplace were remarkable. Our owners bought the home almost fifty years prior and raised their family there-alot of history.

There was the Electric Organ and huge Cabinet TV that my son still remembers today-and as you can see, nothing had been touched or redone except a slight “upgrade” to the interior in the late 60’s.

To the real confusion of our Realtor, and most of our family and friends, we knew we found a home that we would lovingly restore and lightly renovate/update to fit our perfect vision of Retro Ranch Living-a love letter to the Ranch Style childhood homes that we grew up in, idealized in the perfect TV-Land of the Brady Bunch, and dreamed of for our new family.

A place that we could bring back to its former glory.

We were home.
